The
Binder Specialists were more often than not Selina Martin, Liz Teeare and different
drummers. The first one was Dave Lee, then Neil Bazan, then Randy Curnew but
eventually the last one who in retrospect was the most perfect was a wee-tabla-valley-girl
named Morgan Doctor . All of us at the time were vegans. Damn cool that was.
One time on the road we together saw the film "contact" and Jody Fosters'
character was trying to become the winning candidate to travel to the region
of the galaxy known as "Vega". One scientist asked her "what
will you say when you meet the vegans?" and we all knew the answer "more
tofu!"
